General description of production

The production of peat of a high quality is extracted from the Baltic mires. The climatic and geologic conditions in the Baltic States are favourable for the processes of the creation of peat, in this way procuring the region with great possibilities of extraction of the resources of peat and with a high quality of production. Because of its biological structure and external characteristics it is an exceptional production of nature and it doesn’t resemble any other peat which has been extracted in other regions. The export of the production from the Baltic States was started in the 30 years of XX century. The small quantities had been traded also before.

Preparation of production

The peat is extracted in the entire Baltic region. It is famous for its particularity, the characteristics of a high and incontestable quality of the production. The production which we offer can be extracted in the following ways – in blocs and as cut peat. The production which we propose for realisation is extracted and prepared in considerable quantities. It means that we can furnish the production of peat not only for small and medium, but also for big customers who wish to buy large quantities.

Types of production

BalticPeatMoss offers white and black peat and the substrates of different fractions. The prices of the products are elaborated, receiving each request and treating it individually. The types of fractions are following: 0-4 mm, 0-5 mm, 10-25 mm, 10-40 mm, 0-70 mm, 0-40 mm, 0-40 mm + fibre.

It is possible to produce also qualitative substrates according to an individual order, the receipt of the client, basing on a great experience in the sphere of the creation of production of this type. Regularly in our offer there are more than 100 different substrates which are products obtained by combination of various ingredients. To do this work the technique of extremely high quality is used.
